The briefThe Sexual Health Infolink is a NSW Ministry of Health funded telephone and internet based information and referral service. Webcoda was approached to redesign and redevelop the site.
As the site deals with the very serious topic of sexually transmitted diseases, the brief was to create an experience that didnt scare users but encouraged them to find out more and help prevent spread of disease.
SolutionWith close collaboration with the Ministry, we came up with a design that was spot on for the target audience.
We applied those designs to a Kentico CMS and developed features such as a Referral Manual.
The Referral Manual is a database of current, evidenced based and peer reviewed information resources and services. It contains references about HIV, viral hepatitis, STIs and many other topics relating to sexual health…
OutcomeOur designers did a brilliant job of making the site feel welcoming and appealing to it's key demographics. The information is laid out clearly and cleanly so that users are actually reading the contents.
The site provides a great service and can easily be kept up to date due to the ease of use of the Kentico CMS it was developed on.
